(This is a ~30 minute demo, and not the full-game)

You are a construction worker tasked with destroying newly flesh-infested buildings. The flesh is relentless, vermin-like, and lonely. Buildings around you have taken the form of flesh like any other living being. Only you, and you, can destroy them all until they are dust. Do not, and the flesh spreads, and eats away at everything around you. 

Your task is simple and clean. Ensure the flesh has no place to be at all.

This game is a heavily text-heavy, interactive fiction with occasional, but rare, imagery and 'mini-games.' Its story will have two endings. Artwork, short animations/videos, and puzzle-minigames are existent but sparse. There is no music.
